MOTION Parents...

Just wanted to get the word out to all of you MOTION parents that the flight from Chicago got diverted to Shreveport and is waiting for weather to clear in Houston before they can head there. Thus they will be late getting back.

Motion: Day 1 Recap

Today was our busy day. We had 3 performances/Gospel sharing times. The first 2 took place at Lincoln Park Zoo. The second took place at a very busy Navy Pier.

The students did a great job of using the performances as a time to meet new people and in some cases pray for them. We clearly shared the Gospel at each performance through the Lifehouse Skit, the songs, and the brief devo. time.

After our Navy Pier show we rode rides, ate food, watched an IMAX movie (in 3-D), and watched a fireworks show.

The ride back to North Park University was long, but our students were able to use that time to sleep!!

Prayer Requests:
Please pray for our carnival at St. Philip Lutheran School and our encouragement of that local church. Also pray for our potential performance at Millennium Park tonight.

Been a while...

Hello all,

I just wanted to remind you that we will be updating the blog throughout the mission trips that we take with the HSM this summer. It won't be long until we are giving you the 411 on what is happening as we go to Alaska, Chicago, and South Texas!
